The Milford Wellness Village continues to expand its community health campus by opening its doors and firing up the grills at Milford’s newest dining venue. The Village Café provides breakfast and lunch for visitors, businesses and the Milford community seeking a quick bite to eat or meals to take home to the family.

The Village Café offers a variety of meal options through its handcrafted stations, including the Front Street Café & Beverage, Old Firehouse Grill, Rodgers Chef Creations and Mispillion Grab and Go. Monday through Friday, breakfast is available 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and lunch is available between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

“We are extremely excited to welcome our newest tenant and provide a great dining venue for the entire Milford Wellness Village, local business community and residents,” said Meir Gelley, the Milford Wellness Village owner and CEO in a statement. “The Village Café offers a variety of options to fulfill everyone’s needs, whether you’re looking for a quick bite to eat or a full meal.”

Gelley continued, “The Village Café expands our innovative one-stop shop health campus by providing even more convenience for the community we serve.”

Patrons can eat in the 2,700-square-foot dining room or order to go using the Clover app, which can be downloaded through Apple or the Google Play Store. Food orders can be paid through the app and ready for pick-up when guests arrive.

“The Milford Wellness Village is a great location for this dining venue with a lot of foot traffic from the on-site facilities and surrounding businesses,” said Matthew Switzer, district manager with Healthcare Services Group which manages the Village Café in the statement to press. “Our made-to-order meals offer convenience to fit into a busy schedule and we have plenty of grab-and-go items to satisfy any craving.”

The Village Café has a hot station to provide combo meals such as a sandwich and fries, and it offers a “Chef’s Creation” menu option, which will include a daily or weekly special, such as the BBQ chicken with rice and spinach served on the opening day. Hot and cold beverages will be available any time of day.

The Village Café joins the growing list of tenants at the Milford Wellness Village which now include Nationwide Healthcare Services’ Polaris Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center; Aquacare Physical Therapy; Banyan Treatment Centers; Kidz, Ink Academy of Early Academics; La Red Health Center; and Nurses ‘N Kids; The Lab at Seascape and WeCare Services.

“We continue to meet the needs of the Milford community and we look forward to expanding our services any way that we can,” continued Gelley. “We want the community to know our doors are open and we are welcoming everyone to see firsthand the caring environments we provide throughout the village.”
