When Milford Wellness Village took over the former Milford Memorial Hospital location on Clarke Avenue, Nationwide Healthcare, who owns and operates the facility, committed to being a part of the community. Recently, they announced the opening of the Village Café, a breakfast and lunch location that is open to the public. In addition, [General Manager] Daphne Bumbrey recently announced that the facility has five conference rooms available for rent.

“We understand that there may be small businesses in the area who may occasionally need additional space for training, meetings or other functions,” Bumbrey said. “Our five conference rooms are designed specifically for that purpose. Rentals are available through the week and on Saturday with many amenities available as well.”

Bumbrey explained that the Board Room, the largest of the conference rooms has a large, flat screen television and a reception area where arrivals can gather prior to the meeting. Conference Room A is 13 by 17 feet and has an 80-inch flat screen television while Conference Room B is 13 by 18 feet and has a 52-inch flat screen television. Conference Room C is 13 by 10 feet and Conference Room D is 13 by 15 feet.

“The rooms are available to rent in any format, whether you just need one room or all five,” Bumbrey said. “You can have food brought in or arrange catering through the Village Café. We can arrange a full meal or provide you with coffee, tea, water and sodas. The rental includes WiFi as well. When the room is booked, I provide the contact for any IT issues and my information if there is an issue with a room. There is a small kitchenette as well. When we sit down to talk about the rental, I can fill people in on what is included.”

Bumbrey explained that this was just one more way that Milford Wellness Village hoped to give back to the local community. Anyone interested in renting the facility can contact Bumbrey via email at dbumbrey@milfordwellnessvillage.com or give her a call at 302-300-5563.
