Newest physical therapy site prepared for patients as elective surgeries to resume soon under Delaware’s re-opening plan
MILFORD, DE – May 26, 2020 – With Delaware’s Phase I plan to re-open the state set to commence next week, medical providers can resume elective surgeries that were placed on hold during the COVID-19 pandemic. Aquacare Physical Therapy, an established medical provider that recently opened its newest site at the Milford Wellness Village, is ready to accept patients seeking physical therapy after surgery.
Aquacare Physical Therapy provides orthopedic, sports, physical and specialized therapy services such as pelvic, spine, hand and aquatic care. The facility has been treating patients under a limited capacity following all CDC guidelines. It is equipped and ready to accommodate the state’s re-opening plans and accept more patients while continuing to maintain a safe, healthy environment.
“We made the decision to open our site at the Milford Wellness Village in response to requests from the community to offer our specialty programs including aquatic therapy, Parkinson’s LSVT therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and pelvic floor therapy,” said Cara Konlian, CEO of Aquacare Physical Therapy. “We know many patients will need immediate services and we guarantee that evaluations will be scheduled within 24 hours if needed.”
The site at the Milford Wellness Village also includes the Milford Lifestyle Fitness Center, a wellness gym tailored for personal training in a small intimate environment. Aquacare Physical Therapy has 10 locations across Maryland and Delaware.
The Milford Wellness Village is owned and operated by Nationwide Healthcare Services, a leading provider of healthcare throughout Delaware.
